This hotfix further improves vehicle driving, particularly road following, junction handling, and convoy behavior. Vehicles should now move more smoothly and reliably along roads.
Changed
- Vehicles should no longer drive backward while following roads.
- Vehicles now start following roads earlier when possible.
- Vehicles stay on roads longer before turning off to reach off-road destinations.
- Improved vehicle movement through road junctions, reducing unnecessary slowing and overshooting.
- Improved convoy behavior. Vehicles traveling in the same direction and lane now follow slower vehicles instead of unnecessarily overtaking them. Overtaking is only attempted when the vehicle ahead is considerably slower.
Technical
- Reworked road junction navigation data to include all possible lane connections, allowing vehicles to use pre-baked paths for smoother movement through junctions.
